Checklist

Clothing - Prepare for the worst. Mountain weather can change quickly. Bring plenty of warm clothing. Strip layers off to stay cool.

•Synthetic underwear
•Gloves (fingered, fingerless)

 

Helmet - Required for all riders


Shoes - Have a spare pair handy for after the ride


Tools - SAG support will help you in the event of a breakdown. You should ride with a spare tube and air supply. Although the roads are generally clean, and flatting should be minimal, you need to be prepared.


Food and Water - Rest stops will supply energy bars, fresh fruit, assorted snacks, and energy drink, and water. Supplements and other nourishment are up to you.
