Clothing - Prepare for the worst. Mountain weather can change quickly. Bring plenty of warm clothing. Strip layers off to stay cool.

Helmet - Required for all riders
Shoes - Have a spare pair handy for after the ride
Tools - SAG support will help you in the event of a breakdown. You should ride with a spare tube and air supply. Although the roads are generally clean, so flatting should be minimal.
Food and Water - Rest stops will supply energy bars, fresh fruit, and water. Supplements and other nourishment are up to you.
